语气助词 Yǔqì zhùcí – particles

吧 – to soften the request or suggestions

我帮你吧。Wǒ bāng nǐ bǎ. – Let me help you.

你们快去吧。Nǐmen kuài qù ba. – Hurry up.

你来吧？Nǐ lái ba? – Why don’t you do it?

既然你这么厉害那你来吧？Jìrán nǐ zhème lìhài nà nǐ lái ba? – Since you think you are so capable of doing it, why don’t YOU do it?

我觉得你还是买一辆自行车吧。Wǒ juédé nǐ háishì mǎi yī liàng zìxíngchē ba. – I reckon you should by a bike.
